3.1 Community Partners
Community College of Baltimore County Dundalk has hosted a career day for Patterson Students for the last three years. On November 20, 2015, 35 students went to CCBC for the career day. At the career day they started with an information session about the school and horticulture programs. Afterwards the students were about to identify different plants, dissect a flower and design the landscape for a labyrinth. .

We are just establishing during the 2015-2016 school year a partnership that is called Cool Green Schools. This partnership is bringing together individuals from Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, and MOST together with Patterson High School to review the air quality and its affects on the students. This program will allow students to gather data, analyze data and be apart of various studies about asthma, etc.

Shan Gordon from Cool Green Schools have continued to come into Patterson during the 2016-2017 school year. He came into several Biology classes for a week in December and again in February to discuss the school environment and showed the students how to use equipment that would measure different conditions in their class rooms.
We were working with Baltimore Energy Challenge and they are in partnership with Americorp and Civic Works to implement the HUB grant during the Spring of 2016.
3.2 Systematic Partnership
Staff members at Patterson High School have been working with Baltimore City Schools through the Green Schools Coordinator, Joanna Pi-Sunyer and the Energy Specialist, Rajeshri Bachubhay to get the students involved many green efforts at the school and throughout the Baltimore community.

3.3 Awards/Special Recognition
Patterson High School received this certification at the End of Year Celebration given by the City that celebrated Patterson's efforts to "Grow Baltimore" in a green direction.
